Crash immediately on startup. Reverted back to 5.0.6.0.

Bad bad releases from dvdfab.

It is free, not sure what you are taking about...just clicked on the link you posted and there it is plain as day with the download button

i use dvd shrink..nero 6...dvdfab5076..my problem is that i have a dvd-r with 6 movieson this disc ..all movies seem to be in one folder..each movie is marked..avi i think they are all mpeg4..i should like to copy each movie to a single disc of its own ..which can then be played on a wharfdale dvdplayer......any suggestions..??? thanks in anticipation. frank.

can dvdfab read mpeg4..does it recognise avi files?

My 5076 crashes right on startup...

Is there a way to provide the log of 5076?

delete all of defab then run ccleaner then reinstall it

Ever since the upgrades after 5.0.5.0 DVDFAB Gold freezes up at 47% and the clock stops. No error messages pointing to a problem. Does anyone know what is causing DVDFAB to freeze up? 5.0.5.0 copies the same disk perfectly and anything newer cannot.

I upgraded to 5076 and now i cannot burn properly. It goes through the motions and the pop-up states that the dvd was created successfully but when I attempt to view the burned dvd, it says no dvd found. I open the dvd to look at the files and there are none. I have used dvdfab for some time now and have not had any problems until this new version. I have tried it a couple of different ways and still no success, even though it says it was made successfully.

I have a Dell XPS with Windows Vista

quad core processor and 4 gig of ram.

I have no idea what to do.

I downloaded the newest DVDFAB 5.XXX a short time ago. I followed the instructions for retrieving my reg. key and it was sent pronto.

I have unsuccessfully tried to import my key, both manually and by using the attachment provided in the e-mail. It never seemed to work. After the 30 day trial period was over I just kept using my version 4.0

It always responded with "thanks, product will now restart etc..." But it always ended up on the "your trial period has expired" screen

I still had version 4.0.X.X installed so I have just kept using that. So I finally deleted my 4.0 version hoping it would fix the problem.

Now I have version 5, but can't use it. I know I am doing something wrong, but what is it?

My first guess is that you inadvertantly retrieved the 4.xxx key instead of the 5.xxx key.

When you retrieve your key, be certain to retrieve v. 5.xxx as illustrated:

That EXACTLY what I did! I thought it was asking for the version I CURRENTLY had installed on my computer, not ver 5.0.

Just retrieved the proper ver 5 code and it worked perfectly.
