Fantastic work, Fengtao and Ting!

Many thanks to you, and the others in your team, for keeping DVDFab constantly updated like this, without allowing your code to become bloatware. Really do appreciate that a very great deal.

My daughters, who use DVDFab constantly for putting films onto such items as iPods, also send their regards and thanks.

See you later then, and thanks again. Jim

Each new version I retest to see if the following bug has been addressed. MKV files I create with H264 encoding are unreadable in many players including the PS3 due to invalid header information.

This is a snippet of from MediaInfo:

Quote:
Video
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : 0@L0.0
This is what it should look like:

Quote:
Video
Format : AVC
Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile : Main@L4.1
If I use the AVI format then the H264 headers are correct. I have attached the sample profile for reference. Hopefully this is a simple bug to correct.

Hi Fengtao, 5075 still closes when beginning OPEN DVD SOURCE. I've sent you the crash report(I think). If you don't get it would you notify me in this thread? Thanks.

I had to go back to 5.0.6.0 from 5.0.7.5. Stated to copy to temp file and program just shut down at about 5% copied. I tried twice. joekopera@ameritech.net

My copy of 5.0.6.0 was working fine and I updated to 5.0.7.5 and starting with the very first DVD, something old, nothing fancy it started crashing. It goes about 3-5% and then just simply crashes, no message, no warning, nothing, just dies. I tried another disc and same result.

The disc I tried first, I am enclosing the IFO and stuff for it, maybe you can figure out what went wrong with this new release, as of now it is completely useless. Any help would be appreciated since it seems a few others are facing the same problem.

I had a little trouble with Harold and Kumar 2, it copied to the hard drive fine but when I tried to burn to a blank disc it said "failed to burn". This happened twice in a row. I tried a third time and it worked fine. I assume I had a couple of bad blanks. I am using Memorex dvd+r 1-16x. I found out here, AFTER I had bought and used them for a while, that they are not the best quality discs. Live and learn.
