Glad you got that working. Even when preview was not working well for me in the earlier versions, the backups were fine. Should not have any effect.

No problems copying here. I love the memorize UI feature since I would prefer always jump to first menu and remove fbi warnings.

I did however notice one cosmetic bug. Once you click finish, the next button is active. If you click it, it just flashes and remains active. I'm running it on Vista 32bit.

My update reverted me back to "trial version expiration" warning. now i can't use at all. Suggestions anyone?? I've uninstalled and re-installed. I've restarted my computer and entered my registration key like 10 times. How can I get my access back?

Follow the steps for doing a clean uninstall of DVDFab, you can find it below in my signautre.then reinstall using a new download package not the one you have already downloaded, after you reinstall and have it up and running remember next time you update and you get the message that DVDFab has been installed remove the check mark to restart before clicking OK
also have your reg key handy

I followed your steps StormJumper and am still having the same problem. I still get the trail version expiration and when I enter the reg key that was it tells me: "The product will be restarted to enable the registered version" but it does nothing.

did you get the dvdfab key from dvdfab.com I hope??

Yes, I had the key emailed to me twice to input. I just tried the Clean Uninstall again and still no luck. I can't get the program to work at all (past the trial notice). I even tried my back up CD I got when i first purchased the software. Not happy right now.

Are you sure that you got the version 5 key, you had to use the drop down box to get the ver 5 key (dvdfab 5XXX) also you don't get a back up cd from dvdfab so I don't know where you got it from

I suspect this is the case if he just downloads his new key I think his problem is solved given he bought it from dvdfab and not another site.

If after you download the version 5 key and still have problems send fengtao a pm with you license Info he tries very hard to solve all the issues in the past and the present.

yes, it's the key that dvdfab emails me when i click get it back via email. when i purchased software a year ago, i paid extra for back up disk. its a back up with version 3x.

But get it back via email also will send you ver 3, 4, 5 what ever one you have checked anyway there are two ways to reg it and that is to copy and paste the key they send you BUT leave out the * at the begining and end of the key also there is an attachment that you save on your computer then all you have to do is double click on it and it will reg. your copy

Hi I am twix and I am having prolbems burning the bank job.Ihave upgraded to 5.0.6.0. the program worked fine before on other movies.but this one it just turns the program off.Help if anyone has had this prolbem Q me in on it please .

http://www.dvdfab.com/retrieveregkey.htm make sure that you have dvdfab 5xxx in the drop down box because it sure sounds to me like you are trying to use a ver 3 or 4 key but then I am no expert

5.0.6.0 with path player enabled will burn this movie with no problem, is PP on or off

i am positive i've been requesting for the correct version. it's defaulted at 5.x and i am not changing to anything else.

postedby marie1592,hi I had the same prolbem when i received my first dvd fabwhat i did i contacted fentago and they help me through it.I had to e-mail them a couple of times and they did something and the next time i pasted it it worked ,let me tell you i am no expert at this farfrom it ,half of the things they talk about is all foreign to me ,but so far they have manage to understand what i am talking about, these guys are the greatest.Oh by the way Jimbo i finally got it to burn the bank job .thanks a-lot.hope this helps Marie.

How do you enable the mobile the function? I get a dialog box saying the generic is available in the DVD-fab mobile option which I have downloaded as well.

Do you have Vista? If yes, there seems to be a problem with Vista and mobile (at least for my friend).

If it says "Option:Mobile" in the top bar of the window, all you should need to do is click on the "^" in the top left of the navigation pane on the line where it says "DVD to DVD". These options should disappear and the mobile ones should open. What happens when you do this?

I'm having the same issue running vista 32bit with sp1. No mobile options availible (no buttons like: pda, cell phone, etc.). I'm running a dual boot of xp and vista and mobile options work on xp sp3. Seem's to be a vista issue only. Love the app. Keep up the good work.
