Has anyone had success in copying Sherlock Holmes 2 (DVD)? I did what appeared to be a successful rip, using first the NEXT Beta version (8.1.8.7??) then using this one. I also tried using another program, same results.

The problem that I have found is (along with 2 instances of pixellation) that a few minutes into the 6th scene, there suddenly appears the ratings logo ("This film is rated PG..."), then goes back into the movie.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?

To answer the questions i should have already: I've been using this program for 5 or 6 years now, read the forums regularly. I use only TY DVDs, proper burn rates...

Has anyone else heard anything like this?

Going out of town tonight and will not be back till Wednesday so will not be able to comment on it till then.
Hope you find an answer before then.

That sounds like there could be structural anomalies due to copy protection issues.

I know there are problems with the Blu-ray version so it's quite possible that DVDFab requires an update for the DVD version as well.

Send the files through to the DVDFab team using Settings>> Info>> Send Info Files.

We'll hear later from bean55 as well.

Thanks for your input, Wombler.

I have sent it off, so I guess now we wait and see...

My pleasure.

They're normally very quick at sorting these sorts of things so we'll see what happens.

I'll keep my eyes open for any info in the meantime though.
