One of four cores is at ~90% on DVD to DVD. It takes ~ 30 min to rip a disc. With my old (slower) system it took only 7-10 min. It is the same drive from the old system. The difference on this "new" system is 2x940 socket with dual-core Opteron (4x2.4Ghz) and Win Server 2003 Enterprise. The old system was XP pro with a single dual-core Athlon (2x1.8Ghz). I can seriously encode DVD to Mobile faster than rip DVD to DVD because I am able to use all four cores. Seems completely backwards.

    To Fengtao,

I am now unable to rip the audio from Sin City with 6.0.2.2 or this new Beta. It worked in previous versions but not now. I am unsure why. 6.0.2.2 was a fresh, initial install. Also, I have noticed occational discs will stutter at the beginning but then be OK, as if the biginning of the disc is not captured properly? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx but I did. Why would any release of DVD Fab knowingly include a flawed VSO component? Yes DVD Fab authors do not control VSO. However they do control DVD Fab. It makes no sense to release a version of any software knowing it has a bug in a major component such as VSO represents.

It makes no sense to do so.

Get it fixed before it is released again.

    That makes sense.
I suspect the "flaw" with the VSO dll was only occurring in Win 64 bit systems or perhaps only in Win 7 64 bit systems of which only RC is currently released.
Otherwise the whole thread would be lit up with complaints.
I appreciate the fix from VSO, beta or not....and for me, DVDFab just keeps on getting better with minor hiccups along the Beta path, which "I elect" to install.

The new beta crashed when trying to write an image so I had to go back to the official version.
