I am getting the same opening issue with gran torino all us warner titles at least recent ones it looks like

Just to confirm, if i want to backup my BluRay movies, the clone option will copy them with all the BD+ protections, correct?

This version still does not remove any BD+, correct?

BD+ removal (and several other new features) are still under development. Hopefully they will be available soon.

i tried 6.0.3.6 last night...

It crashed. The crash occured when i click the start button to rip in the movie only mode of blu ray copying.

The crash caused my blu ray status to go from "Never Be Used", to "your trial key has expired".

Crash will not change trial status. Please re-download and re-install 6036 to see the result.

6.0.3.6 still crashes when I try to write to DVD. Also, when installing it, there are 2 tasks running:

Since I also had 6.0.2.2 installed in a seperate directory, when I removed 6.0.3.6, 6.0.2.2 quit working. Now when I try to reinstall 6.0.2.2, I get this:

and VSO doesn't install either, which is why I'm thinking is the reason it won't write to DVD.

I went into the registry and deleted all the keys for DVDFab, Pcouffin, and VSO, then tried again to reinstall 6.0.2.2. Same failures.

since installing 6.0.2.2. to 6.0.3.6, it does not write to disk.

Can you tell me which windows version you run ( 32 bits or 64bits ), XP, Vista, 7 ?

the 2 cases may be differents issues, and if you want to speed up resolution, please contact VSO directly and let know you are DVDFab users.

Hi, I have been a DVDFAB user since it's 2nd incarnation. Then it was just simply a DVD to DVD program and I thought that it was a great program. Eventhough DVDFAB has evloved since then, for the better in most part the release of updates have begun to get longer in duration.

I noticed that with 6.0.2.2. I could not back up,

The Shield Season 3, The International and Seven Pounds. All these Dvds are region 2 U.K. releases. When pathplayer is enabled although the menus and special features copy, most of the playable content is removed, and without pathplayer enabled the project simply fails. These Dvds are all Sony pictures releases and DVDFAB only seems to have a problem with Sony discs. While The International and Seven Pounds are recent releases The Shield predates DVDFAB6.0.2.2.

I have waited for the newest updates for these discs so I can back them up to my harddrive, However a month on from DVDFAB6.0.2.2. DVDFAB6.0.3.6.Beta still cannot rectify the problem.

I'm running vista premium 64 bits. I am having trouble burning the dvd even though it said that it was successful every time, there was not even an error code. The blank dvd was simply unburned.

nwkwang, did you run vso inspector :

and see stats about your configuration ? because simply unburned and not finalized isn't the same situation

direct contact with me would greatly speed up resolution as I can provide internal dll to narrow down the issue.

I have been a dvd fab user for a long time. I am very frustrated that
the new versions of DVD Fab does not burned. I read the forum and changed the burned engine from VSO to nero, and it worked. I would like to use DVD Fab with VSO as the burned engine . It worked for so long until recently. My operating system is Vista Home Premium 64 bits.

On Windows 7 RC when going from completed rip to burning it to DVD DVDFab app crashes and closes. Went back to 6.0.2.2 and same disk rips and burns fine.
