for The Reader and Spinter, it got past initial dialog 'Open DVD source' (with and without 'path Player') where I could briefly see the files, then - before I could even tell it to do anything it crashed.

Hello Fengtao, thank you for the updates. The open Blu-ray folder in harddrive is fixed and the video preview is cool.

I do have one problem so far: reading Blu-ray ISO files previously ripped by AnyDVD HD with all protection intact, DVDFab crashed. The details are:
    - Narnia blu-ray ISO (AACS v7, no BD+): DVDFab scan fine and showing the titles but after 1 second it crashed and the "Report - Info" window appears where you can input your name, email etc and send the crashdump.dmp, errorlog etc.
    - Madagascar 2 ISO (AACS v12, no BD+): DVDFab scan very quick but nothing shows on the screen.

Is there any plan to "shrink" blu-ray to BD25, BD9 or BD5? Full and movie only?

Ok, now for the strange part. If I start DVDfab and than insert the disk and let DVDFab scan full disk then go to Main Movie everything is fine except previewer does not work. I did not view the full movie yet, but on a quick scan it looks fine!

Hi ConfusedNeophyte, ChicKC, please check Preview settings, and make sure "DirectShow" is used.

As was already stated, Beta versions have never been posted on the DVDFab site. Only official versions are posted there. Beta is just what it means and it's posted here for people to try and to give feedback for any bugs found to get worked out.

Is anybody having trouble with Seven Pounds (R1, US)? It opens just fine, but when I go to copy it, it has a read error at only 4.33 percent into the copy process. I clicked "Ignore All" and it's not doing anything. (It's still open and running right now as I type.) Should I send the IFO files? Or does anyone kno of a fix for the movie. I'm running the latest beta, and trying to copy in Full Disc mode...but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps I have overlooked a response to the question posted by Zaina in post #6 (Is there any plan to "shrink" blu-ray to BD25, BD9 or BD5? Full and movie only?) If so, pls accept my apology.

It seems as though that question or a suggestion for same was mentioned earlier in the initial DVDFab release containing Blu Ray. Again, I could be mistaken, but I thought Fengtao, at that time, made a positive comment concernng same.

    I stand to be corrected.....

That's a long list of goods in your signature...

If you are having a problem, burying your question here in a thread about a now long-past BETA release is not going to grab you alot of attention. Far better you post in the main forum, where all can easily access it (and be aware it even exists).

Am going to need a little more info about your specific problem... "pathplayer in all settings" doesn't tell me alot...please elaborate.

Yes, those indeed are the three available settings - which one do you use?

Is preview your only problem with this release?

Make sure Decoder (in preview section) is set to DirectShow, and keep trying any different encoder packages offered to see which one works...I've found with DirectShow, DVDFab video & audio work fine for preview.
