Please Help: DVDFAB 5.3.0.6. -Punisher War Zone

DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, DVDFAB 5.3.0.6. -Punisher War Zone at Movie copy software forum; I just updated to the new DVDFAB 5.3.0.6. version and I am still having problems with ripping " Punisher War Zone" . It aborts after about 8 minutes in. Has any one else had this problem and No I'm not going to buy the Any DVD program nor do I

Clean the disc and the laser lens.
Check your pathplayer setting.

I did region1 pathplayer as needed verbatim 8x no problem at all.

Re: the Pathplayer settings where should they be set at ? currently they are on the default settings. as in "enable pathplayer when neccessary"
the BOV scan cells are set at 300 seconds, VOBU is set at every 30 vobus,
and the box is checked for check for multiple BOVin the same cell.

This is the standard default setting, if it needs to be changed what configuration should it be set at ?

Larry, I also have checked and it's set as region 1 on the dvdfab 5306, it's a default setting as well. thanx - Pacaguy

This one ripped fine for me. 5.3.0.6. but I have my pathplayer set to always on

You should have pathplayer set to always enabled. I'd say the rest of those default settings are fine. That's where mine are. With that setting I had no trouble backing up Punisher. Also I was in Full movie mode and jump to the first title and remove annoying stuff. It was a region 1 dvd also. I'm using ver. 5306. Hope this helps ya out. ~ Mike

u did setting Writable Media (DVD-5) Size 4472 and Writebale
Media (DVD-9) Size is 8152 (DVD+R DL )
i did test FULL MOvies WORKKK NO PLMS for me GREAT for Punisher War Zone.

It's got to be the movie, I've got the pathfinder at always on, tried both just the movie then tried full, both failed. will try to get another original thru my movie supplier. thanks every one who put in their idea's and what they've experienced.

Can you please tell us which version of DVDFab you have ?
this movie has been out for some time now and DVDFab can handl this title, if you are using the latest release v6040 or v6042 beta then try disabling pathplayer if you have it set as "Always Enabled".
also make sure the disc is clean..e.g..no fingerprints or heavy scratches.

Nero has taken down the free version of CD-DVD speed, but you can still get the last free version here: http://www.free-codecs.com/Nero_CD-D...d_download.htm

You can check the disk for errors. Just because it will play doesn't mean it will backup! Two very different operations.

If you are still using that old of a version then most likely that is the problem and updating to v6 will or should resolve your issue, however you will need to request the v6 reg key which will not be a problem if you have the lifetime registration
