5.2.2.5 Beta (January 7, 2009)
New: Updated VSO burning engine.
New: Increased conversion speed for "DVD to Mobile" greatly. (DVDFab Mobile Option)
Fix: Eject wrong drive tray if there are two or more DVD writers when burning for second time.
Fix: A freeze problem when converting DVD in certain cases. (DVDFab Mobile Option)
Fix: A crash problem when converting DVD like "Sleeping Beauty". (DVDFab Mobile Option)
Fix: A crash problem when converting DVD to Xbox 360 or Zune in certain cases. (DVDFab Mobile Option)

BTW, for new protection which was found on Bangkok Dangerous (US) and Disaster Movie (US), you can turn off PathPlayer and make "Main Movie" copy (select title 1) for now. We are working on it, and it should be supported very soon.

Did a complete clean before installing the new 5.2.2.5 beta...DisabledPathPlayer...Disaster Movie would copy and burn in movie only like you suggested. Bangkok Dangerous I finally got to work on Xp, but it had the error pop up first and then acted as if it was locked up for several minutes. I tried this on both a XP and Vista windows system. On Vista with Bangkok Dangerous the program locked up and couldn't get it to work. I know you'll get 'er figured out...Thanks!

Thank you for the update, but as far as turning off Pathplayer and just making a copy of the main movie itself, it still does not work. 98% through you receive many read errors.. So I will wait for the other update...

Tried disaster movie like you said and it copied but would not recognize my blank media so the movie is on my computer but still will not recognize my blank media. Bangkok would not even move past looking for media at start up.........

Copied bagbkok dangerous, got failed to burn in finalizing stage however disc played fine, (using TDK DVD-R)

Thanks Fengtao and the team for being so responsive for the updates and support of this software, I think Wombler (sorry for the spelling) made a post on the backing up of Bangkok Dangerous, I used 5.2.2.2 and just shot to the hard drive, movie only, after aborting severl times as he sugguested and then DVDFab 5 backed up to the HD, then made the Disk backup (Verbatim Disk only) checked the copy it looks like it had no problems, I have not checked it in my player or watched it all the way, but I am pleased the way it turned out. ( It is a US movie) I didnot care for some of the previews anyway, Main Move just fine..Thanks to all, for this great forum of infomation.....

Your support is greatly appreciated.

When you get the read errors at 98% just hit ignore all and it will finish sucessfully. I did this then watched it and it played perfect all the way through.

I also did that and the backup did not work either...Thanks for trying to help..I'll wait for update....Best regards...Bob....

how do i do complets clean out? is that like deleting the old version from your desk top? if so how do i load the new version...I have my reg, key..but when i try to load the new version it ask to pay..

Just double Click your key and it should take. Close and reopen program and all should be fine.

thanks i will give it a wirl to see if i can make a mp3 audio only

cleaned and reloaded...disabled pathplayer...starts to analize then stops...abort screen pops up...then freezes...maybe i need to wait 4 the updates.

stilll having trouble with bangkok dangerous i have windows vista with the dvd fab 5 2 2 5 any suggestions i have cut off the path player will not open thanks

i have cut off path player...copying main movie...at 98.76% error popped up hit ignore several times..still copying but very slow...now at 99.05%.....bangkok dangerous

oh did i mention it has taken over and hour to even get this far....

I'm glad the it is working out for most people, but not for me. 5.2.2.5 will now not read a blank in either drive. Source D: Target E: just sits there trying to read E:. Reverse source and target and I get the same thing. Went back a few betas and all is well. I am using Imgburn to burn.

Might want to have a look at this.l

Houston, we have a problem.....lol. Well...tried doing Bangkok Dangerous and finally got to the screen with all the titles. I did Title 1, but the next button didn't work, so gave up on that movie for now. Did another movie and things went fine until I put a blank in. Now it doesn't recognize the blank. Worked fine before I put beta on. Can somebody help me please.

Same problem here - DVDFAB will not see a blank in any drive???

Try installing it again over top that install.

+1, Using VSO, it can't read blank media. I also have Version 4+ running on the machine. Zero time to detect media on version 4. Burned from that version.

I was able to do a full disc backup of bangkok dangerous and the dvd structure is crazy...Fengtao you have your hands full on this one that is for sure.
If they perfect this protection you may have a lot of work later
