Just tried the 5.2.1.2 Beta and am having the same problem as the past beta. After the first burn the destination drive letter is the same and correct but DVDFAB wants to burn to another drive for the next burn. If I make two copies of a disk it does burn to the correct drive for the second copy. Only when I click finish and start with another disk does this problem happen. Must re-start DVDFAB each time I want to burn another DVD. The paths are correct as the drives respond correctly for all other normal applications. These are external drives but unlike last time DVDFAB reverts to the internal laptop drive, rather than one of the other external drives (like last time).

Thoughts?

I sampled various DVD's with the new beta and the A/V sync issue still the same with mpv files during the iPod/iTouch conversions. Audio is slightly ahead of video by the exact same amount as before.

Generic avi conversions and vob files are still perfect.

Just found that if you select burn another copy it is directed to the correct burner - if you switch to a new DVD the problem occurs. Also tried three different versions of vso_hwe.dll and all had the same problem.

I gave 5.2.1.2 a workout when I got home this evening. I took my absolute hardest DVD to get good A/V sync from my collection. I made iPod/Touch, iPod mp4 and iPod h264 5G. All played on the PC with VLC. The video playback wasn’t what I would call jerky but almost. Actors would make sudden and “too quick” movements. I changed the framerate to 23.976 from 29.97 and the playback was fluid and the A/V sync flawless. I also made an mp4 for the PSP FW 3.30+, the playback had the same “almost jerky” appearance at 29.97. I changed the frame rate to 25 and again the playback and A/V sync is spot on. Very nice revision!
