Steve
I ripped and burned "WALL-E" with beta 5.2.0.5 and IMGBURN and it worked just fine. I have DVDFAB write speed set to "Recommended" and IMGBURN set to control the write speed automatically based upon which type of disc I burn.

I cloned WALL-E using a VERB DVD+R DL (MKM-001-00) with a speed of 2.4x. It worked perfectly and made a flawless copy.

Does the new version have an "eject" button? It would be very very nice.

Great tool!

I'm running the latest version.
I always check my projects for any errors before I burn and I only use good quality media. I keep my system clean and I never have programs running in the background.

I unfortunately spoke too soon. My WALL-E clone displayed several stutters and freeze points when I played it on my Samsung HT-Q80 system. Back to the drawing board.

hello everyone,

i am new to the site.

just wanted to ask want burning engine you use and why. i currently have vso, nero, imgburn.

also wanted to mention that i tried burning two movies and when it came around to inserting the blank disc it would not take it. what it would do is feed the disc back out. which is strange to me becuase dvdfab has work perfectly in the past.

Its really a user preference, they all work fine, now you can burn an .iso with all of them with Fab. I really doubt you will be much a difference, the VSO Engine is used by many programs, and Imgburn is probably the " Best of Breed" in what it does on its own. You cant buy a better program, so its really up to the user.

DVDFab is still churning out dodgy subtitle files. It is making 2 idx files, appending CD1 and CD2 at the end of each of them, even though it is only generating 1 mp4 file.

Also, DVDfab never recognises when I put a DVD in the drive. I either have to open and navigate to my DVD drive inside the program, or restart the program for it to see the disk.

Thanks for the update.
I am having trouble getting it to work with my zune. Iam trying to get Elektra to work and it keeps freezing up when I try to play on my zune. Any ideas?
Thanks,
raspwest

This is not a dvdfab problem, but apparently you have turned off auto insert notification in another program. This affects other programs as well if disc is inserted.

Burn and log issues over here too!. DVDFAB 5.2.0.5 beta Is not initiating the burn process with IMGBURN or VSO Burn selected.

I'm truing to backup Terminator 2 as a split and it is making the split image files but will not proceed to the actual burn????

Any clues??

Well, DVDFAB continues to fail spliting Terminator II after writing what looks like 2 good ISO files to the temp file. IMGBURN nor VSO will start.

I installed the latest non beta version and the problem remains and now IMGBURN it has failed making a simple moive only back up of Terminator III.
