This should make some people happy. I have 12 drives hooked up and shied away from this beta. I did download this new .dll for possible needed use at a later date.

problem wasn't relative to the number of drives in the system but rather due to some dvd writer models, this is a test dll, we need the feedback of users to be sure the problem is adressed now.

oh i see it's drive specific. Do you have a list of drives that are affected? I may not even have one of the affected drives.

no, it is quite complex to expose ( I m not the developer ) I m just the postman and I make it available and check if users confirm the problem is solved ( but if you don't have the problem you can test it to see if you have a problem now :-) )

The new beta DLL worked for me - both for ConverteX and DVDFAB. Many thanks!

What is your problem? nobody can help you unless you state what your problem is Sorry that sounded rude and didn't mean to be a smart a$$, guess I need another cup of coffee, a burn log would help us out to troubleshoot your problem and also what brand of media and how fast are you trying to burn at? the more information you can give us the easier it will be to solve your problem

So that would mean that you successfully ripped the files to your HDD and now you are having a burning problem. Is that correct?

The HD Decryper still does not copy main movie ...only full disk. Is this the way it is supposed to be

Thanks, Ken

Medium-Memorex or Sony, Burn speed 1X. The log files are empty, but I will see if they are disabled somewhere in the program and post them after another attempt

I did 'rip' the files to HDD as an iso file but when it's burned there is just the intro vid and nothing else

This is why I never auto burn with any program. The best way is to get the files to the HDD and examine them for even the slightest errors. Once satisfied with the results then burn. What ripping method did you use? Files or ISO?
And burning at 1x?

I've downloaded the newest updates to Dvd HD, and I am currently trying to burn The Dark Knight, but in 3 different computers it will not get past the "opening source." After 10-15 minutes or so on a computer running XP, I get a message saying my virtual memory is low, and it shuts down DVD HD. On a V1$ta machine it does the same thing until the "program has stopped working screen" pops up forcing you to close the program. The copy of Dark Knight is the legit copy that is going to be out to rent and I am the first person to handle this copy. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes , it doesn't compress the movie thats why you have to use DVD-9, so you have to use shrink to get it on a SL

Jimbo, I know this thread has meandered a bit but I would like to ask you if my summary is correct:

The free copy if hd decrypter will copy both main and full movie only in dvd9. If the file is too large I then go to dvd shrink. I should uncheck preview if I am having a problem with main movie.. also try disabling pathfinder if still not working.

Could you be kind enough to tell me how to view a video_TS before I burn the dvd in case I just want to watch on my computer.

Thank you for your help, Ken

I have been ripping disk to a iso file then burned it both automatic and manual mode. 1x speed see: http://www.osta.org/technology/dvdqa/dvdqa4.htm

I really dont think the transfer and burn process has anything to do with this particular copy job as I've done several others with great success using the auto burn after rip. Its got to be something with the Wall-e disk, just not certain what.
Thanks though.

If you had examined your rip you wouldn't have had all those coasters.

What I meant by that is that some people automatically go from one step to another without ever checking if things are correct.
