New: Profile can be changed in "Tast List" window now. (DVDFab Mobile Option)
New: Updated VSO burning engine.

Fix: Log file is not saved for VSO burning engine.

5.1.1.5 Beta (November 14, 2008)
New: Updated VSO burning engine.
New: Updated language files.
New: Some minor improvements.
Fix: UOPs protection is not removed completely when using "Main Movie" mode.

Just installed 5.1.1.8 and only one of my 5 burners appears under target. Installed 5.1.1.5 again and all burners appear. Tried this several times with the same result. Any thoughts?

Hi. Downloaded this update hoping it would fix burning problems I'm having with IronMan. Didn't help. Any ideas? Also doesn't DVDFab update itself when you're online? If not, how do you keep program updated after purchasing?

It will notify you of major revision releases but not betas, and will not automatically download either one.

I see. Is there any particular places to go to download all updates? As it stands I have 5.0.3.0 and just downloaded the latest beta which created another program. Still didn't fix IronMan though.

I m Fabrice from http://www.vso-software.fr which delivers the burning engine for DVDFab , I have been notified by a user of this thread, if you want to give a try to the latest vso_hwe.dll you can get it by downloading

Then in the installation folder c:/program files/vso/ convertx/3 you can copy the vso_hwe.dll

if you have still any trouble, don't hesitate to contact vso support team, even if you are a DVDFab user, we can assist and let you know what is the problem.

As I mentioned in a previous post when I installed 5.1.1.8 all but one of my external drives vanishes in the target drop-down in DVDFAB (a BENQ on one machine and a Plestor on the other did appear but no other external drives). (Tried this on two different laptops with USB external burners) Tried the vso suggestion in the post above with no luck. Then I tried installing 5.1.1.5 and copying the vso_hwe.dll from the DVDFAB folder to a temporary location. Then installed 5.1.1.8 and copied the old vso_hwe.dll into the DVDFAB 5 folder. Now DVDFAB does see all my drives??

Just checked since I own the program and Convertex to DVD has the same problem with external drives not appearing. Again, a copy of the old vso-hwe.dll file to the convertex direcory seems to solve the problem.

Have a problem, my 2 optic drives are E and F. installed the 5118 beta, now drive F will not show up in the dropdown box?? I use E as source and F as target? any ideas or do i need to roll back to 5115? Thanks

Seems to be a problem with vsohwe.dll - older versions appear to work and show all drives.
