split disc problem still not fixed...

easy to reproduce, just manually (not using ffw, fbw buttons) try to set the playback time on second disk (ie drag playback time slider) .. happens with software player (tested with zoomplayer, theatertek), hw players (denon 3930)

is using DVDfab to copy movies illegal since movies are copyrighted? I use it to backup DVD's mostly.

i have a idea for DVDIDLE Pro upgrade.

make the program to be a virutal drive which can use disc folders and :-
1. Simulate drive region DVD\BlueRAY.
2. analogue protection system free DVD\Blueray.
3. CPRx protection free and twin sector protection free (let other programs do other decrpytion other twin sector protection).
4. RC free.
5. RCE free.
6. SecurDisc Free (for all disc data types) (for drives which are not Securdisc compatilbe to copy Securdisc free even then do not be able to like do not know password).
7. read ahead cache buffer.
8. compatible with RCP1 and RPC2 drives and bluray drives.
9. able to make udf images.
10. Blueray RC free
11. Blueray RCE free.

It would help if you started your own thread on your problem and a little more information other than fab freezes whenever I rip a movie maybe a burn log, version you are using and so forth

Alright Jim, here it goes. and btw, I've started my own thread in the past and no one ever responded or got back to me. So that's why I post stuff like that in the main ones. o yea this problem occurs for every version after 5.0.3.5. NONE of the updates have worked since then...THATS BEEN MONTHS! lol however I encountered the same problem with every last update available. That's alot of updates that didn't work..

Hi brandon,

I don't mean to split hairs or pick on you and I apologize if that's how it comes off, but I just took a look at your posts and you never started your own thread. Most of your posts were buried in the "announcing new release threads". In your defense however, you did post a number of times and in Ting's thread about Mobile problems as well.
You're right, someone should have responded, but again, stuff gets buried.

I agree with Jimbo, please consider starting a new thread with as much detail re: your problem as seems reasonable..
There's obviously some conflict somewhere in your system since the vast majority of users aren't having problems with these versions.
Hopefully, we can help you resolve this.

Hi Brandon, have you installed any emulating software lately? Like Alcohol or any Virtual Drives? Please give us the specs of your computer, like what Processor and how much Ram you have installed.

looks like you are using dvd to mobile feature and every profile you try you have problems. program crashes, audio out of synch, only half the movie will rip....etc.

i hate to suggest this but lets see if this will work. Rip to hard drive using Main Movie mode then use HandBrake for iPod conversion. let us know if this works.

here is the official reply from the program author with no real reply from you except more venting and threatening to switch rippers.

I am not sure what is the reason of your problem, and this problem happened in every DVD for the some settings ?

I will do a test for this.

Thanks.

The xvid encoding option under "General" doesnt work anymore and H264. Sometimes the audio will be out of sync and these are problems i never had before. I would see other people complaining about it but i had no advice for them because I had never experienced what they were talking about. Now that I update, I do and all of their problems are fixed. Some coincidence. I think I just need to keep the older versions. I would advise readers to do the same, just in case. i'll notify fellow readers when i find a better ripper dvdfab jus isnt as dependable anymore
