Could some of you please test Split Mode & report back if discs work OK in standalone players?

(Details in this thread where we have been discussing this - the Split method/settings that I use is in my post toward the end of page 2.)

Hello, well this version on windows ME will open and run. Now I receive an error I never received before: Task_1 failed! Error=400

It will copy dvd, then I receive that error before it even attemps to burn. Any ideas? Also, with version 4.1.0.2 everything worked great

Whenever I install an new version, I completely uninstall the old one and run CCleaner. However, no matter what I do, the new version always says:

Version 4.0.0.0 in the "About" box.

Is there something I am missing when I install the new version?

no you shouldnt have to do anything besides install new version. thats how i do it anyways.

please follow the uninstall / reinstall guide from stormjumper.

Empty the Recycle Bin and for the last two steps DO in order
1st.... Do a Registry Clean up using "REGSEEKER" or what ever you use
2nd... Defrag your whole system
NOW Reboot and re-install DVDFab (NOTE) DO NOT USE the old download file of DVDFab that you have had on your computer "COULD be Corrupt RE-DOWNLOAD a new copy of the file to use
