That's for folks who want to ignore the message and take the risk this time. If you want not to lock the volume for all time, there's even a setting (Write tab) to do this - but this is very inadvisable.

Have you tryed cleaning the Disc

with a "SOFT Lint Free"cloth

if not give it a try NOTE...make sure you wipe from the center to the edge not in a circle motion

You can also try ISO Buster to extract the files to your hard drive

i cleaned. the thing is it plays perfectly fine in the philips dvd player, no freezes, no skips!!

No luck with ISO buster either, it hungs/stops exactly at the same spot where ripit4me got struck.

Becuase during a burn, you don't want some other prog to come along and try to write to the drive. It may cause unwanted results. So you want the burning app to have full control of the drive.

Problems like this should be posted in their own thread--they get lost in the noise in a version release thread, which may be why you had no response. I suggest you download the free trial of the Platinum version and try this in Customize/No Menus mode with PathPlayer enabled.

I have been using the DVDFab HD Decrypter and when I installed the 4.0.6.2 (Feb 7, 2008) update, it no longer opens, I double click the icon and the I see the hourglass for a few seconds and then "nothing". I tried to uninstall, cleaned registry, and rebooted then reinstalled... still same problem... now even older versions install but do not open...

any advice anyone?....

Well just installed Imgburn v.2.4.0.0 and I am still haveing the same error,

I will go back to the VOS Burning Engine as that worked well.

Im one of those who get fed up with that garbage OS Vista and therefore made the switch...
Slysoft products isn´t an option anymore since they dont work In a Ubuntu/Wine enviroment which you´r products does

) I know, cause I have tested them, there are however some small graphic bugs and mouse doesnt work as it should in the settings meny of DVDFab (but there you can use left-click on mouse and arrow keys instead). And if you write a legit key at the first start the program still asks for key or demo mode when restart. Earlier versions in the 4.xxx serie didnt behave in this way....

So my suggestion is as follows:
With the start of the work on the next version set up an Ubuntu/Wine 0.9.54 envrioment as a testing enviroment besides windows. Just a tip since many people nowadays made that switch from Windows......
