One minor problem with Nero burning now. If using DVD+RW to burn to and the disc has not been erased, VSO would firstly format the disc automatically and Nero would also do a quick erase automatically. With 4.0.6.0, VSO and ImgBurn will format/erase automatically but Nero will not. Gives a Task_2 Error=31.

Keep up the great work and thanks for an incredible product.

Sorry Guys, should of checked this out properly first. The above happens with the settings for "Write" - box unchecked to automatically erase rewriteable media.

With the box checked it performs as it should - erases automatically for VSO, Nero and ImgBurn.

Strange that with box unchecked it still automatically erases rewriteable media for VSO and ImgBurn and gives error message for Nero.
Anyone checked this out?

Does the new support for ImgBurn and Nero ROM only work in the GOLD and PLATINUM versions. Or does it work also in the DVDFabHD free version.

DVDFab HD Decrypter is just a ripper it does not use a burn engine

Hi durkinjt. Up until now they never have. But with this update Fengtao, in his infinate wisdom, has decided to add IMGBurn as a alternate burn engine. If you go into common settings and click on write, you'll see the spot that has VSO Engine. Click on the drop down and you will see IMGBurn under VSO, and then Nero. You can choose that and see if you like that alternate. Good Luck ! ~ Mike

Tried using ImgBurn. When I specify Imgburn in the Write section of Common Settings and restart I get the attached message. I tried what it suggested but it didn't help.

Is this true? Or is Fab simply using ImgBurn's CLI to access it?

To tell you the truth blutach, I misworded my post, I meant to say Fab calling up Imgburn as an option within the program is great. It that okay,

Wow, DVDFab and IMGBurn were my 2 favorite programs before. Kind of cool they are intertwined.

Any advantage to having ImgBurn with DVDFab or is it just for the one click feature? Before I always used DVDFab to save to folder then ImgBurn.

Very cool though. Great great work.

Great Update!

But, how come Pathplayer is back to "enable when necessary"? I had to turn it on again.

That makes two of us I did what stormjumper said and that is the exact error I get and still do the only way for me to avoid it is change the burn engine back to Vso and the program opens without the message .

I can however open the program select imgburn before I copy and all goes well.

@Alan,

Yes, of course it is OK. I just found it strange the way it originally read - that ImgBurn was somehow bundled in with Fab.

@Bob and signals

I am certain LUK! had nothing to do with this (other than providing CLI input for his program which has been there from day 1 of ImgBurn), since we all know of his agreements not to assist in the development of programs that include ripping.

This is my first time using this program. It worked great. I tried it with good luck chuck and 3:10 to yuma which failed with ripit4me. Worked flawlessly with dvdfab.

My only question is why are the audio files so small when i use dvdshrink after dvdfab ? I think both dvds i tried had only 7 mb audio files for the 5.1 dolby. Normally when i use shrink the 5.1 audio track is like 200+mbs.

Regardless it worked and sounded fine after using DVDfab, just wanted why the audio track was such a small file. Is it not true dolby 5.1 ?
