Duplicate...sorry the site was glitchy

I'm still getting hard and fast crashes on ejecting any DVD after ripping. This is Vista SP1. Tried it on 3 separate PCs and it's reproducable on each.
Also, a tiny issue. When you open the configure dialog to change settings, if you rename a file and then hit enter, it closes the dialog without accepting the change, effectively cancelling the change.

New support for ImgBurn WOW I love this improvment
Great added feature Fengtao and the upgrade on the Nero burning Rom is also a plus

I just tried out fab with imageburn and if you select image burn after you open the program all works well but if I do not change it back to the VSO burn engine I get a failed to intialize burn engine when opening the program again all you have to do is switch back to vso burn engine before closing and you will not see this message .

I just used ImgBurn in Platinum and did not have this issue, Howerver I did have to un-check the checkbox for "Lock Volume-Exclusive Access" on the write tab in ImgBurn because I kept getting an message with the reason "Access Denied
May have something to do with DVDFab already having control over the lock volume
after the box was un-check ripped two movies with no issues

That's exactly what it would be StormJumper. If one program has a hold of the drive, ImgBurn can't lock it for exclusive access. Just give whichever program you wish to have the exclusive access (I prefer the burning engine myself).

One step closer on this but it still doesn't work. After clicking "Play" from the main menu, I do now get the next menu to select "Full Screen" or "Widescreen" which I didn't get with previous versions. However, if I select "Widescreen" which is the verison that I selected from the "Customize" screen, the movie goes to a black screen and stops. If I click play on the dvdplayer, the movie returns to the main menu.

2 days in Paris has a severe problem.

With Path Player or without, 4.0.6.0 just shows two titles, one 4x3, one 16x9, each about 7 seconds long. The one that plays is a security warning msg.

Choosing 'full disk' shows 48MB to back up.

The movie does not show at all - yet I can see the vobs in the file manager of XP - and this is a new DVD.

DVD Decrypter shows the movie files.

The strange thing is while version 4.0.5.5 (and apparently 4.0.6.0 Beta) do not read the disk of 2 days in Paris, dvdFab HD Decrypter 4.0.1.6 Beta (which I have on my machine) was able to read and backup the movie without a problem.

One thing you may consider as a work-around, is to use FixVTS after you Rip with DVDFab. FixVTS does a real nice job of cleaning up crossed pointers and such.

Fengtao - this is fantastic, thanks for the update. ImgBurn support is really wow. Have tried it and it works superbly.

One minor problem with Nero burning now. If using DVD+RW to burn to and the disc has not been erased, VSO would firstly format the disc automatically and Nero would also do a quick erase automatically. With 4.0.6.0, VSO and ImgBurn will format/erase automatically but Nero will not. Gives a Task_2 Error=31.

This is really incredible, Fab and Imgburn in the same program. Just unreal, it get better and better. Even I am taken back by this changelog. What a great product.
