- New: Improved PathPlayer.
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: "Split" mode may fail when copying DVD in certain cases.
- Fix: "Split" backup disc cannot be played on standalone DVD player in certain cases.

4.0.3.5 Beta (Jan 1, 2008)
- Happy New Year 2008!
- New: Added option "Check for multiple set of BOVs in the same cell (like Easter Eggs)" in "Settings -> PathPlayer" window.
- New: Improved PathPlayer to determine some special paths.
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: A reading error problem when copying some copy protected discs like "Blades of Glory" (US), which was introduced in 4.0.3.0, sorry!

Thanks,.....but...pathplayer did not come on ( or option to jump to main menu ) with Shoot 'em up.

Big Bear I just tested my R1 version of Shoot em up and it did work be sure you have pathplayer set to always enable.

Now backing up Resident Evil: Extinction, (always had pathplayer enabled, as on Shoot em up) and pathplayer came on as well as option to jump and delete warnings.....

wow you guys are fast i only got to back up 3 movies with dvdfab 4.0.3.5 now im going to try out dvdfab 4.0.3.6 now

Hi: With the last two updates I have copied a couple of discs and everything looks good. EXCEPT....The copies will play on my Korean $30.00 player but will NOT play on Panasonic DVD Recorders. The Panasonic said there is nothing recorded on the disc. Could this be something with the finalization of the discs? HELP!!! Too many coasters.

Hi teddy - oddly, cheap DVD players will often play discs that the better players will not - the good players are often more "fussy."

Did other copies play on the Panasonics before?

Do you have "SET BOOKTYPE TO DVD-ROM" checked in settings? (For DVD+R.)

Everything worked before, but I had changed from "Writing Packet" to SAO. I have done that again and have been using NERO to burn with. I don't want to use Fab to burn in case the SAO change is not the fix. I hate to throw out so many unplayable discs.

well, at least its working for some, tried this version and I am still getting the " failed to create directory" error in the pop up window. Tried a old movie "the punisher" and everything worked fine. tried "shoot em up" and I get the error.

For those of you who may not have seen the thread, we have been discussing the Split Mode problem that some of us are having:

Since this problem seems to be the main reason for the update, I suggested that we continue the discussion here so as to have all the info in one place, making things easier for everyone.

Just used it on brand new movie. With pathplayer disabled it loaded, took a long time to analize, copied and skipped 80 sectors as unreadable, then said burn was sucessful, but didn't play.
Enabled pathplayer, everything went smooth as silk, played great.
