That option is no longer there. It worked without having to tick or untick anything.

CDRipper-Great thanks for the quick reply. I heard Die Hard Live Free or Die Hard was also a problem with DVDRebuilder I wonder if anyone can confirm works with that movie.

I never had a problem with with Dvd Shrink, and I use it on every dvd After I rip with DVDFab Platinum.
Then you must have not tryed Pirates of the Caribbean:At Worlds End or some of the others ppl mentioned. Although according to CDRipper its fixed.

I said DVD SHRINK not DVD REBUILDER PRO as CDRipper said. And that movie did work with Dvd Shrink on the old version.

Just ran my first WMV conversion using the XBOX360 profile. Ran it at a 2000 bitrate and the quality is very very good. The audio is in sync as well.

Great stuff.

My "at college" son recently purchased a xBox360.
QUESTION ...
Once you have converted video media through DVDFab XBOX360 profile/WMV output, how do you move / store it on xBox360 internal HDD?? So far the only media I've been able to move/store on xBox internal drive is CD/CDA audio files when sourced from xBox optical drive (xBox will automatically rip and store music file to internal drive).
Thanks
Dennis

Thanks Fengtao and Ting!

From the changelog and comments, it looks like you've addressed the issues I was experiencing using DVDfab Platinum as a front-end to DVD Rebuilder with some of the newer DVD releases. I'll be trying it very soon with Pirates Of The Caribbean At World's End, and I'll post my results.

Fengtao,
Thanks I can happily report that version 4.0.2.0 Beta (Platimum - the only one I tested) fixed the problems I was having with Ratatouille. I did a full rip of the move with pathplayer forced on and did not delete any VTSs and DVD-RB (Pro) re encoded them w/o any problems.

The rip played with Roxio DVD Max 2.0 on my PC and the re encoded rip written to a RW DVD worked ok on my Sony stand alone.

Hopefully the issue can be put to bed with your latest beta.

Thanks Fengtao for taking the time to address a problem that may have only affected a small portion of your users. I really appreciate your efforts and time and help

I've been playing with the Zune WMV profile and have adapted that profile to my mobile phone/PDA.... (Dopod D810/HTC Trinity)

Slowed down the default bitrate tp 150, reduced default audio bitrate to 64 and changed resolutions to only valid ones.

So far, looking good...

Only problem is that the re-encode is slow but that is always the case with any WMV encoding that I have done, even with Windows Media Encoder.

Great work Ting & Fengtao....

Hi there - and thanks for all your work

Unfortunately, some titles still makes DVDshrink crash, even some older titles...

In our house, my girlfriend's kids have never learned how to treat CD/DVDs right (they've ruined more than a few), and it doesn't seem to be changing in the future...so I'll rather make a copy for the kids, than lend them any original...

One of the titles is "Me, my self and Irene" - DVDshrink crashes when opening/analysing the files which even the latest DVDfab decrypter has made. So...what does one do? Can I in any way help the developement team with these troublesome DVDs?

You could try a different IDE cable. Just a thought, make sure its a 40 pin 80 conductor cable or ribbon.
