Did you try UNchecking the new "Remove Useless Cells" checkbox? From the Official Guide:
The only backup to folder that I have made with Platinum 4.0.1.6 reads without problems in DVDShrink. Did not process it further, other than to try playing it in the preview window, which was also OK.

Guys thanks a lot for taking some time to try to fix the Ratatouille, DVD-RB Source is Corrupt Issue. I tried three configurations of DVDFab 4106Beta. All with the Remove Useless Cells unchecked. Disable Pathplayer, Enable Pathplayer when necessary, and Aways enable Pathplayer. All three options had similar problems as before. The Always Enable Pathplayer seemed to have the fewest hits.

I'm sorry I didn't get around to trying it sooner, I had some things to take care of here at home, getting ready for the snow that just showed up.

I will send the data to you at the dvdidle.com address so you can review it.

Program crashes every time it gets to a second pass on encoding mp4 files. Sometimes it makes more progress than others, but it rarely gets to the end of the encode.

Using win vista. Win throws up a "prgram not responding" window and asks me to force the software to end.

For Pirates - At Worlds End, I used 4.0.1.2 plat and FixVTS.
Used Sony DVD RW DRU-810A (firmware 1.0f) to read/burn. Maybe something about FixVTS that works better than "remove blank cells" in beta 4.0.1.6.
I use "main movie" mode. DVDshrink came up with 77.0% compression ratio. Decided to use DL disc instead DVDshrink.
Burned disc w/Nero. Beautiful as always. Fab Plat rules!

Just bought Pirates of the Caribbean: At World End, and ripped it in with DVDFab Platinum 4.0.0.0 Beta, and got the DVDShrink out of memory error. Tried DVDFab Platinum 4.0.1.6 Beta, and got the same error. Finally I went back to DVDFab Platinum 3.1.8.0 and Dvd Shrink had no problem with it. Success finally!!!!.

Im staying with this version until this issue get fixed.

hello fellas, I have used DVD HD Fab for some time now and love it. For some reason I am also unable to burn the latest Pirates of the Carribean movie with DVD shrink or Nero. DVD shrink comes up with an error saying ( out of memmory ) Can you please look into it for us since its not just my system.

Hey, I have a Question for you guys. I put my original of Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End in my DVD Player and when the menus come up it makes a weird noise. Almost like a ringing sound or high pitched sound in the background. The movie is alright i think, it just makes a weird noise when the menus come up.

I wonder if its suppose to do that?

It's possible that your DVD player does not recognize the copy protection. Had problems with Casino Royale. Had to rip it first to get it to play.
