The program runs for 20 minutes. Exit CPU Killer 3 and restart for your next item to process.

Have you emailed the crash report to Fengtao?

Hey Signals

I've have the same problem as "but_your_face". I believe it has to do with Windows 2000. Not sure if "but_your_face" is using that operating system or not.

I've been sending CRASH REPORTS to Support since version 3.2.1.0 came out but unfortunately still no fix. Tried 4.0.1.4 Beta with no luck so I just keep going back to 3.1.8.0 which does works.

Hi Greg, sorry to hear you are still having trouble. I am stumped by your problem. Refresh my memory, does your crash happen when you click on the mobile device, when you click Next or when you click Start (or some other time)?

It does not matter what DVD title I try. Put the Disc in > Select PVP > Select Next > Select Start > The process starts, creates a small 2kb file (which I've sent to support) then up pops the CRASH REPORT (which I've sent to support)

I can try an create an Ipod, Generic or PDA file and all give the CRASH REPORT.

I've done complete uninstalls following directions on this forum and still get the problem. I go back to 3.1.0.8 and I can create the AVI file so I'm not dead but I would like to move on to the current version.

I don't think it's anything with my system but has to do with Windows 2000. Just my guess though.

Do you remember the version (even approximately) when this started? Did you mean 3.1.0.8 or 3.1.8.0 as the one that works?

My bad, I use version 3.1.8.0 without problem. Every version I've tried after that I can not create an avi file using DVD to Mobile feature. The next version I have is 3.2.1.0 and it does not work. Tried versions released after that and betas up to 4.0.1.4 but still does not work. Right now I'm back to 3.1.8.0.

I have tried on two different windows 2000 pro systems I have and neither one can create an avi using DVDFab after version 3.1.8.0. The problem is the same with each new version. The process starts, a small 2kb avi file is created and then the CRASH REPORT.

I have a 2000 pro computer dedicated to just backup dvd's and make avi files. That system does not run any other programs. I'm 99.9% sure it has to do with DVDFab and Windows 2000 pro and can only be fixed by Fendango.

Guess that blows away my 2000 Pro theory. I hope a fix can be found soon.

Below are the 4.0.1.4 Info contents for Live Free or Die Hard with PathPlayer disabled and enabled; note the differences. How should the user determine when to use PathPlayer or not? In this case cloning to Verbatim DL9 results in good burns using either approach.
If enabled, is PathPlayer functional when using Clone Mode? .iso files appear identical either way.

This program never ceases to amaze me. The quality of the MPEG 4 on my Video IPOD is so good that I can accually enjoy a movie on a 2" SCREEN, I never thought that would happen.

Must agree with you there, Alan!

Recently I put an AC/DC dvd on to a Sandisk gizmo with a 2" square screen, and was able to thoroughly enjoy a totally clear display all the way through.

Really fantastic being able to watch them on a longish bus journey.

With the very real possibility of cell phones on airlines in the near future,
thank heavens for my Ipod and Fab...

I was stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours yesterday and I didn't even mind. I watched " The Host" on my Video IPOD.
