- New: Added support for a new CORE X2 protection.
- New: Verify disc to make sure it's burned correctly.
- New: Added option "Verify disc after finished burning" in "Settings -> DVD -> Write".
- New: Added AutoPlay handler on Windows Vista.
- New: Added display for actual DVD size, like "Quality: 56% (7655 MB -> 4300 MB)".
- New: Added support for DVD image file ".img" and ".nrg".
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: "Error while reading" in certain cases.
- Fix: Workaround for authoring error as found on "The World Is Not Enough" (US).
- Fix: Several minor problems.

even with this new beta release i still got that crashing problem i got since version 3.1.6.0

If there is any more information i can provide to help you solve this problem i'd be glad to help.

So far i'm gonna go back to the lastest version working for me, the 3.1.5.0

yes fengtao i got the crash report window each time, almost immediatly after pressing the 'start' button.

I wanted to thank you for adding/fixing the DVD9 option so that when it is selected as a target size, the software keeps it as the default.

disableing "Smart Read-ahead Cache" in "Settings -> DVD -> Read" seems to have solved my problem.

Nice improvements in that release like the displaying of the target size for example.

For the first time ever I have an error with this new beta. Trying to burn home movies converted from . avi to DVD using WINAVI. Burning from hard drive. The instant I click start: Task_1 Failed! Error 400 (20,14). Then a process failed window comes up. No crash report. I believe the VOB files are fine since I was able to burn a DVD from them using another burn program, same hard drive files, and same burner. TY media of course.. No protection involved in this burn.

It should be an IFO authoring error.

Please send us all the .IFO files on Original disc, then we will check the problem.

A recommended way is listed below:
1) Open an Explorer window, and navigate to VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD.
2) Copy all files ending with .IFO to hard disk.
3) ZIP the IFO files on hard disk to one file. Name it with a readable filename, like Stealth_UK.zip.
4) Send the zip file to fengtao(at)dvdidle.com, you need replace (at) with @.
