Great work, Fengtao and Ting!

Copied a recent film called Tommy Was ( featuring the redoubtable Vinnie Jones along with some of his boxer pals ) which has pretty recent Sony protection on it, and DVDFab really kicked its ass!

Many thanks for the unstinting efforts on the part of you and the rest of your team in updating DVDFab like this.

See you later, then, and thanks again. Jim

Robone,
Hi thanks for the update 3115, I have never had a prob with putting a DVD to hard drive.
But when I burn with the VSO, 1 in 5 discs will free up using a Phillips SPD 330L H5S2 burner. Have you any ideas, please.

Hi robone
If it freezes on you check in common settings-->write if it is set for Packit witing change it to SAO writing and see if that helps

Robone.
Re explain a bit more. Ok. Using Dvdfab Plat I put the DVD on to Hard Drive, then I burn the disc (Verbatim DVD-R) with the Phillips USB. 1 in 5 burns will freeze up the program using the VSO engine. I use the SAO writing on slow with 4472 mgb. To un-freeze the program I reboot the computer. It might them burn ok for the next four times I want to make a copy. But on average it will freeze up on 1 in 5 tries to back a back up disc. Please can you help. Robone

@Robone
If it burns 3 or 4 times then freezes on the 5th or maybe the 6th burn and you have not made any changes to the system then it sounds like you have a program that is running in the background during the time it does freeze up on you, could be anyting from anti-virus getting updated or some program connecting to the internet try and find out if there is a program running in the background.
When you start your computer ther are many program that load and run in the background I myself use a program called "Quick Startup" which you can disable those programs that really do not need to load at the start up you can find it HERE BUT only disable programs you know are not needed at startup

Thanks guys for the great work, I have nearly backed up my entire collection of movies. I'm having a problem backing up a new movie I got though ... "because I said so" ... it always stops writing at like 95% and gives me a 116 error. So far all my other newer ones are backing up fine with this version ... I had alot that wouldn't with the 113 ... the dvd player just kept spitting them back out or saying no disk. Is there some kinda new decryption or somthing on this particular movie??

Thanks

Robone,
Thanks to all for the help. I have used DVDfab (Express) since Jan 2005. it was updated with Gold, and I purchased Plat this year. I think the product is the best there is. I have 2 children, who up until I found out about DVDfab, used to scratch all my best loved DVDs. We now have peace in the house. Thank you Storm Jumper, I will try to Knock out anything not needed in the back ground. Keep up the good work Fengtao.

Hi Ting,

I've just tested this latest version of DVDFab Plat and the problems I'm having still exist. You probably haven't had enough time to sort it out yet, but I thought I would let you know that nothing has changed for me with this new update.

Keep up the good work!

Hi ukdelboy,

Please tell us your problem in detail.

1. What copy mode do you use?
2. Which title (name, region, country)?
3. What's the error code? or A/V sync problem?

Best Regards,
Fengtao
