Fengtao, you really know how to ''LISTEN'' to your users. That's the most important thing you can do. More products would be wise and learn from Fengtao and Ting on how to keep there ear to the ground and listen to the pulse of there clients. Thank you !! ~ Mike

oh dear, looks like the missing sound on fast forward bug has reappeared in this version? dvdfab now encodes xvid+mp3 correctly over 2gb, but now i'm getting the missing sound bug again, which was fixed in an earlier release?

i always test a new version of dvdfab on Battlestar Galactica (pilot episode, before the tv series) which is 2hrs 54mins... i encode @ 1600 for video and 256 for audio...

have tried in WMP11 and PowerDVD... have installed latest xvid and ffdshow codecs, and still its a no go... anyone else having this problem... will test some more later with some other movies that encoded fine on earlier releases...

Sorry If I'm kind of slow, but can someone tell me what the difference is between these 3 Fabs?

The no sound is not fixed now, it is just happened in some DirectShow player, it is because the default microsoft avi splitter filter is not compatible with the index file structure of the avi file. I am working at it.

Thx for the update... Is there any workaround for this problem until it is fixed in a future version of dvdfab?

As things stand, this is the only bug i have with dvdfab at the moment, everything else works fine...

Works great. Lots more profiles for mobile devices, removing bug where it crashed when selecting PDA file mode.

Strange bug with this version though. Whilst checking settings - it reverted to some weard language, Arabic maybe, reading from right to left. Deleted all language files other than enus & ok now.

Hi, Bronco. The version you have only writes to HDD files, the others include a burning engine for writing to DVD and many more options and functions. There is a link in my sig that describes the modes available in DVDFab Platinum (the "Features and Modes" one).

Bug reports about 3.1.1.3

1) During Platinum/Hd Decrypter installation after selected italian language appear "Create desktop icon" instead localized version ("Crea icona desktop")

2) At the end of HD Decrypter installation appear "Lunch Dvd Decrypter" instead "Lunch Hd Dvd Decrypter"

4) The license agreement are always in english with any other language selected. To accept a license agreemente the user should be understand the meaning of license agrement and if he doesn't know english shouldn't understand it. The license agreemnt shoudl be localized and appear in the same language of user interface selected during installation.

5) In the main status window the messages about main operation like "Analyzing Dvd Started or Copy process started" etc. are always in english also with not english language selected.

6) The messages like "The folder already exist" appear always in english

7) The button (Yes/No) relative to window information (Upgrade available / Folder already exist, etc) are always in english
