I agree!! They should be Commended! When I bought this program I never of guessed how often they post new updates fr DVDFAB. And the customers also have a say in which they would like the program to do, like the ISO output!

I have probably tried all the programs to backup my DVDs (Even the most expensive) This is the best program!! Anyone thinking about getting this program.. don't hesitate!! Buy It!! It will be worth it!

With this version, when recording to Hard Drive at max settings AVI when you open a movie with VideoLan, it gives a error, AVI seek error. It says this may not work properly..

I would like to start off by saying thanks to the DVDFab team for the constant updates on this great product.

I have been eyeing an appleTv for weeks and now DVDFab is supporting this profile, is all i needed to make the plunge. i just downloaded 3.1.0.5, but i dont see the profile for appleTv. Do I use one of the iPod profiles? I would like to pick up an appleTV tomorrow and would like to have some material to try it out before purchasing if at all possible.

WOW ! I just tried out beta 3.1.o and it really iimpressed me & now when I went to post my "2 thumbs up" you have an update. I just used 3.1 in clone mode 1 layer (Verb of course) to back up "Gaite Parisienne" total runing time 87 mins and set the writing speed at 8. Using an HPdvd 840d external drive as the source and an internal TSST SH-W182Z from start to finish less than 15 min. And I don't have the speediest rig in town. I'm really happy to have this program and that the authors really do care about their product & us.
THANKS AGAIN

Hi cedrich
If it took 87 minutes you need to reset the DMA, use the reset DMA button in common settings

The latest version still cannot convert some DVD titles to the PSP format.

One title in particular I've been trying to do for sometime now is Pink Floyd's P.U.L.S.E.

This DVD can be copied fine. I can remove all the extras, and DVDfab Plat seems to remove the copy protection, but even after doing all that it still can't be converted to the PSP format.

What happens is... DVDFab Plat gets to 100% into the conversion of this DVD, but fails to finalise the final part, and just sits there indefinitely without reaching the "Finished" prompt.

The main reason I bought this program was to convert a part of my movie collection to the PSP format. It would be appreciated if you could look into why DVDFab Plat is having trouble converting certain DVD's.

Best regards,

Del

Try not doing anything for 12 to 15 minutes and see if it finishes. This works for me on one of my dvd drives that is slow finalizing.

Does the program lock up? May be a bug with the updated VSO burning engine. Saw another thread about a finalizing problem. Read through that thread if you get a chance, it may help.

Hey StormJumper & Tigdday-
heck, I'm wearing trifocals- and they are suppose to be progressive- but truthfully, my brain rarely thinks it or they are progressing at all. Yep, I didn't make that the dvd's running time of 87min. really very clear- sorrry 'bout that. And that was under 15 min. to back up incl. inserting the dvds into the drives to taking them out-like my typying I only use 1 hand- just ain't that coordinated- hey I just got another year older today- no wonder!
WOW- this program & forum really works for me Thanks.:bigmsile:

Hey guys

I had to unstall 3.1.0.5 after several attemps of trying to back up a DVD it would lock up 3/4 the through the process , even backing up to the hard drive, I removed and I did another clean install and it repeated the process of locking up. So I uninstalled again went back prior 3.1.0.5 and reinstalled 3.0.9.8 and all works fine.

Houston we have a problem?
