DVDFab 3.1.0.0 Beta
Dear all,

DVDFab products 3.1.0.0 Beta is out (04/24/2007):

DVDFab Platinum 3.1.0.0 Beta:

DVDFab HD Decrypter 3.1.0.0 Beta:

DVDFab Decrypter will not be updated, please download DVDFab HD Decrypter instead.


What's New:
- New: Added support for ProtectDVD protection as found on some Germany DVDs.
- New: Rewritten DVD parser to be independent with UDF/ISO file system.
- New: The navigation bar can be customized now: show/hide specific options, or add new options for "DVD to Mobile".
- New: Added "Cell Phone", "PVP" and "PDA" options for "DVD to Mobile".
- New: Added many new profiles for different devices.
- New: Added command line support. "Full Disc" only now.
- New: Updated VSO burning engine.
- New: Updated A/V codec for "DVD to Mobile".
- New: Updated language files.
- Fix: Removed padding data when copying single angle if it's a multi angle title.
- Fix: A/V sync problem in certain cases for "DVD to Mobile".
- Fix: Several minor problems.

look forward to trying it out. however i was wondering if error=29 when attempting to burn with nero from a folder previously ripped by fab platinum has been fixed or is on the slate to be fixed?

The file parsing is so fast you can hardly tell it is happening. Must be 10X faster.

I installed 3.1.00 right over 3.9.8.0 is that the usual proceedure or should I have uninstall 3.9.8.0 first and then install 3.1.0.0? Everything seems to be working.

What you did is exactly right. This software is very well mannered and updates install easily. It retains all your settings and registration.

Fengtao and Ting, its the best all around program out there. I love it. Just backed up "DeJAvu" No problems. I did " Movie Only ". I wil try other modes later. Great job .

Hi all,
This post is in 3.0.9.6 thread, and I would like to post it here to get some help:
I have 3 titles that using 3.0.9.8 can rip to HD nicely but could not play using PowerDVD 7.2
- Full Metal Jacket
- Unforgiven
- The Fugitive

Other 10+ HD DVD that I have them ripped playing okay with PowerDVD
I wonder if the file name has anything to do with the issue ?
When I choose "play from file" and click on title - nothing happen, no error at all

I will give it a try with 3.1.0.0 version to see if it help

so that means DVDFab Decrypter is not gonna be updated anymore, it's just going to be DVDFab HD Decrypter
