dvd path player, and customize missing options, what the heck is going on here?????

Hi guys this is kind of an offshoot of this thread

i have dvdfab platinum 5.0.5.5 and i'm noticing that i am missing options that i had before.
#1, path player never enables
#2, under customize, pcg removal and other options missing.

direct from the dvd fab manual is this screenshot

But my Screen does not have the (jump to first menu, and remove pcg), it's all whited out for some reason. aside from this my path player is always greyed out, and i have tried reinstalling, uninstalling, rebooting, exiting and restarting, tried different dvd's, tried sourcing directly to the hard drive.


any help would be greatly appreciated

You've gotta get PathPlayer working first otherwise all the other stuff will not work.

Try a uninstall/reinstall and have a look thru the forum on how to do this. More info on your OS, etc would help.

GregiBoy is right, you must have PathPlayer for those options to appear. On the PathPlayer page in Common Settings, make sure that the bottom button (Always Enable) is the one selected. The slider controls should each be in the middle (300 seconds/skip 30) for starters. The Info screen in Common Settings will always tell you whether PathPlayer was enabled; see what it says after scanning an original disc (a screen capture of the Info page would be useful).

seems like we will just have to wait for next release. i know ive come across dvds that even though i have set always enable, the info page shows disabled and the options are not available. more can be found at the other thread.

thanks for your comments, i did end up trying this another dvd and it worked. so i guess for whatever reason it's the dvd's fault
