Using Version 3.0.2.0 for Descryptor & Platinum.
My normal operation is thus: decrypt using DVD Fab Decryptor to hard disk.
Then, use DVD Fab Platinum to encode using this as a source.
This process works normally, but Battlestar Galatica season 2 doesn't. The first sign of a problem is preview doesn't work for the episode titles (Does work for other titles). When the process is started, it almost immediattely fails (no error code being shown, should it?).
The decrypted files play fine in VLC.
If I decrypt and encode straight from the DVD, no problems. The decrypted DVD seems to have only the VIDEO_TS directory, the AUDIO_TS is empty, which I find unusual.
(Well, okay I do seem to also have a stalling problem on second pass doing h264 encoding in 3.0.2.0 - the task complete percentage doesn't move but the process is usng up all the CPU cycles)

First off, I guess I'm confused as to why you decrypt with fabdecrypter, close that app and then have to open another app when platinum will do the whole process. It seems like a long way around with no apparent gain...but maybe I'm not understanding you.
Have you tried simply doing the entire process in v.3.0.2.0....?
The fact that the AUDIO_TS is empty is normal. This is a format issue. Most people just leave it, as it does no harm. I know that there are a number of ppl. using various copy software that delete it and don't have a problem. Also, there have been reported problems on playback with older players when it's been deleted.
Hope this helps.__________________

Thanks for the info on AUDIO_TS
I was originally just dumping the decrypted versions to disk, then was going to use handbrake on OSX to convert due to it's ease of use, then found DVDFab platinum was even easier (except for queueing). So now have a bunch of DVDs on harddisk that need encoding, but may have to go back to the originals because Platinum can't handle the files. Gah. -

Update:
Appears to be something between DVDFab and reading it's own decrypted files. I've had success encoding from the DVDFab decrypted files with Handbrake, and going straight from disc to encoded.
Problem only appears to be with Battlestar series 2.
