DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, Blades of Glory at Movie copy software forum; blades of glory works fine with 3170 and 3172 up til vts_o8.1vob then disables dma and freezes at 20.51% tried other versions nothing works anybody got any ideas?

What's the difference in the beta version and the non beta versions

The non beta (3.1.7.0) can't do this:

I downloaded and used 3.1.7.3 Beta (Aug 25, 2007) to attempt to burn Blades of Glory. I did it on both a DL and regular DVD-R. Both copies made it all the way through but when I try and play it it pauses and you have to fast forward in order for the movie to continue. Then a few minutes it pauses again. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

I did every thing you said to do,to copy Blades of Glory, but it still has that protection in there. [freezes] In the beginning of the movie, I used 3 double layer [VERBATIM DVD], & full version, & I still can't copy it , I have to drop off thursday. I hope I will be able to copy this. Anybody have an idea.

the new version has slowed all burning programs, including NERO WAY down on me. Not sure why?

It should have no effect on other programs unless your UDMA Mode has changed, Check it.

i cant get the movie blades of glory it stop at 98% in the read file
tried many ways of going around it and still only 98%.... what is in this movie file ....need the fix..thanks

Try cleaning the disc, or maybe get another, it sounds like a bad source disc.

ALFRED,
I had trouble with my copy of blades of glory to using3.1.74,I tried the new version
of dvdfab 3.1.7.6 ,and it worked fine in full disc mode no problem.So I agree with DR.
WHO.use 3.1.7.6.

Yeah sheep is right dvdfab 3.1.7.6,backs up BLADES OF GLORY,fine in full disc mode.

If it's in PIO mode, it will run slow...Check out Post #6 (platinumsword) under Misc.,Click on Dma, then in (Womble's) post click on Enabling/Checking whichever OS you have.
