Hi,

I just burnt my entire music collection into a DVD-RW and played it
on my Philips DVP 642 -
plays fine with 2 glaring problems:

a) no long filename support.
is there a easy way to change my mp3 files.. so that each mp3 file
takes on the folder name as album name.
b) Can't figure out how to use it in shuffle mode.
it plays everything in sequence.

any suggestions to how to deal with the 2 problems.

I don't have the latest firmware 1109.
wanted to check with you folks to see if its worth upgrading the firmware ?
i have the previous firmware - on my brand new 642/37.
