| I inserted my own image for the top DvdRemake Pro menu image where you select Disk 1 or Disk 2 using this method: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepr...omize_menu.php And it worked like a charm. The only thing I couldn't figure out how to change is the semi-transparent image that will appear when you hover over either of the menu choices. The default is a yellowish tint made to cover the circles on the original menu and highlight them when you're selecting either Disk 1 or Disk 2. Is there a way to also change what will appear when you hover over the menu choices? |

| If you mean to change the highlight color, look under Color Schemes in the Preview window. Change the 3 pixel types (emp2, emp1, pat) for the color index and transparency tabs. The color index value refers to the color index in the CLUT pane. The transparency value ranges from 0 (transparent) to 15 (opaque). If you mean to change the circle image, you have to reauthor with another authoring software and replace it back in. Search in this forum, there are many threads discussing this. Guide is also available at Dimadsoft site. |

| Help! hehe... I've followed all the guides I could find, and everything turns out great except the subpicture.bmp is always the original one with the circular highlights, and not the one I want to substitute and I can't figure out where I'm screwing up. I pulled out the original subpicture.bmp using SubRip, and edited that file using just the 4 colors, saved again in same format, 4 bit/16 color OS/2 .bmp file. I renamed the file subpal.bmp though (because I work with both PAL and NTSC format, I try to keep them straight). I loaded my changed background image into Muxman in the Video area. I then loaded this subpal.sst file into the SubPictures area: Quote:

Everything turns out perfect, including the color changes for the highlighted colors on the top menu and my new background image, except for the highlighted area being the original circular images and not the new arrows I edited in on the subpal.bmp file. Am I missing a step in the process or what am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help in figuring this out. |

| "Replace with still" only replaces the menu background, not the subpicture highlights. Use "Replace block" instead. Guide here: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepr..._menu_full.php |

| When I use "Replace block", I get this error immediately: "There were problems performing the operation. Please examine the log for details." The log simply reads: "Read DVD from: C:\Movies\DISC_1\VIDEO_TS Read VMG Read VTS1 Read DVD from: C:\Movies\DISC_2\VIDEO_TS Read VMG Read VTS1 Read DVD from: C:\Movies\MENU\VIDEO_TS Read VMG Read VTS1 Replace block >> different streams (1416:AngleBlockListExView.cpp)" I've gone over remaking the subpicture again to be sure everything was correct, colors, etc. I tried exporting the new DVD inspite of the error to see what would happen, and the menu buttons don't function at all. The image is there, but hovering doesn't highlight them, clicking them does nothing. I'm sure I'm stupidly missing something very basic. |

| Don't worry. You can ignore this message. Continue on with the guide. I'm sure you'll get this working. |

| Still getting nowhere with getting the buttons to work. After I select my menu with "Replace block," I can't do the next step in the guide. The buttons will not highlight to use the Shift-double click to access the Command Edit to set the Link TailPGC. Buttons aren't there, so I have no way to bring up the Command Edit box. What I noticed was when I select my menu using "Replace block", under my menu image it says "set 1 (0 buttons)", and the sample in the guide says "set 1 (2 buttons)". Is this where my problem is coming from because it doesn't see any buttons? And does that mean I'm screwing up the subPicture.bmp somehow? |

| I missed that you authored with MuxMan. You are missing the menu button layout info, thus saying it's 0 buttons. So from the original default DvdReMake menu, export the buttons to a file ending in .mbl. Then after replacing with the MuxMan file, import the buttons file back in. The buttons file already contains the LinkTailPGC command so you can skip this step of the guide. Since you're replacing the semi-transparent button image with your arrows, make sure the button red rectangle, aka button hotspot, encloses completely over the arrow image so as to see the whole button highlight when selected/activated. This is done by modifying the button coordinates. |
