Your source audio is LPCM. Modify step 2 accordingly. If your source is 2-channel, then change it. DRMP does not support LPCM playback in the Preview at the moment, but it should be there when play in software player.

Thankyou for your input. The answer was right in front of me and i couldn't see it. I've been searching posts for a week and redoing the same dvd during the same period and couldn't get the audio to work. In the past i've been using Ulead DVD Workshop for the whole process. DVD Workshop lacks so much compaired to DVDReMake Pro and i paid $150.00 for it. DVD Workshop 2.0 doesn't keep the orignal menus or chapters and you can make a career out of adding chapter points manuallly. Also i had to convert each dvd into an MPEG so i could import into workshop. Thanks again for your help. My last issue is to get the fist play video that is in my Dumby DVD to play. When looking at the merged project i see the "First Play" size to be 1 MB and then i right click on it under the "Domain" pane and select "Replace Block" and in the window that pops up my first play video is stored in the very last "POOL" in my case its POOL 73 and so i select that block to replace the empty 1 MB block but i still have no first play when playing back from hard drive using PowerDVD. Error Msg: Replace block > > different streams 1416:AngleBlockListExView.cpp Thankyou Last edited by Phe0nix; 21-07-2006 at 09:28. Reason: adding error msg

Which VTS is the "First Play" size being 1MB, or are you referring to the VMG/First Play domain? Did you use the Merge feature and replace the default selection menu by ReMake with your own, as in VTS 34? Are you importing from DVD Workshop output or original DVD? If already preprocessed by Workshop or some other app, does it automatically play already? The Replace block different streams message is just a warning, telling you that the video/audio/subtitle attributes of the replacing block is different from the original, so you want to the modify the attributes accordingly if needed.

I was refering to VMG/First Play ( if that stands for Video Manager )? Yes i used the merge feature and also replaced the DVD ReMake default menu selection screen with my Imported Dumby DVD i created via Workshop 2.0. When using PowerDVD to playback Dumby DVD created in Workshop my First Play video does play, as well i have my motion menu w/audio. Here is my Dumby DVD Project I replaced the 1MB block in the last VTS ( VTS 34 ) just below my Menu i replaced. Thankyou for pointing me to it. I was looking at the top were it reads "First Play". Now i can do everything i want to do with DVDReMake and a whole lot more. I'll definetly be buying the Pro version. Unless you don't think my needs require the Pro version. What would you recommend toaddub? And thanks again for your continued Support !!!!

ok, it's clearer now with the help of the picture. Actually there's no video in First Play as the size is 0MB. The original customized menu is actually in some VMG Menu PGC. If I understand you correctly, after replacing with the customized menu and export, this menu does not display in PowerDVD? Did you follow this guide: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepr..._menu_full.php, especially in Steps 3 and 4? I assume the 2 movies you're merging is in VTS 30 and some other VTS that I can't see. Does each of these 2 movies play already in PowerDVD before merging? Does each has its own menus? I see there are many other VTS that is less than 1MB each, I assume you blank all of them, except the movies? I highly recommend the Pro version as you can customize the DVD any way you like. You may not find the need and familiar with the various features now, but it will come in handy when you're working on some special project. All it takes is time to learn, be familiar with the program, and lots of reading as there may be questions similar to yours that were answered already. But feel free to ask if you get stuck.

No sure why the first play video is 0 MB but there is a first play video in the Dumby DVD project. The dumby dvd first play video is store in VTS 1 PGC 1. I have everything working since your last post ( thankyou ). I have my first play video working and my Motion Menu with the audio thanks you your help. All is well. Thankyou David

I,m not sure what i did that lead me to believe i had the "first play" video thats in my dummy dvd project working but its not. I took the time to make a click by click presentation of what i'm doing trying to get it to run. I can get the video playing now but can seem to get it to get to the menu after it plays. Cick by Cick Screenshots I have "first play" pointing to PGC 1 in the VMG and after it plays my first play video it just loops for obvious reasons. Need help telling DVDReMake to go to the menu i made after playing the video. Thankyou

Thanks for taking the time in making screenshots. This clears up the problem you're having. The miscommunication is the term you're using. When you mentioned "first play" video, I thought you are referring to the video in Video Manager/First Play, when in fact you are referring to the video in Video Manager/Menus en/PGC 1 (aka VMG Menu PGC 1) after replacing it in project5. I assume project5 is the merged dvd project that you merged from project1 and project2, and project6 is the replacing video. Correct? You're replacing the video in the wrong place (VMG PGC 1). VMG PGC 1 is part of the project1 that was merged, so it shouldn't be touched. VMG PGC 43 is the Title menu. Is the replacing video PAL or NTSC? Here's what you do to get it to work, starting from fresh in project5: 1. In step 1 of your screenshot, right-click on Menus en and select "Add PGC". VMG PGC 44 will be created. 2. Go to PGC 44, Programs pane, "Add program". A blank cell is created. 3. Now you replace the video over this blank cell, like you did in steps 1-3 of your screenshot. "Replace block" is available by right-clicking on this blank cell. 4. Add the audio track for this video. In step 6 of your screenshot, you should change to # channels to 5 since your source is AC3 5-channel. 5. Now to fix the navigation. In steps 9-10 of your screenshot, in First Play, change the pre-command "Jump VMG PGC 43" to "Jump VMG PGC 44". 6. In VMG PGC 44, go to Post Commands pane, add "Jump VMG PGC 43" command. "Jump VMG title menu" and "Link PGC 43" are similar alternative instructions. You get the logic now? Order of play is from First Play -> video -> selection menu. I think this is what you want right?
