| DVD Burner - NEC - ND-3540A firmware 1.W4 I received the drive when it was first out in the US market: Friday, June 10, 2005. The drive is Made in Malaysia, May 2005 and comes with stock fw 1.01. Flashed with Liggy & Dee firmware 1.W4. It is my habit to test a drive with all my media before I conclude something. Tests include 11 DVD+Rs, 11 DVD-Rs, 1 DVD+R DL, 1 DVD+RW, 1 CD-R, pressed DVD DL read speed and overburn test. Lets see how the NEC ND-3540A performs on 25 different media.
