| I'd go for the original drive (20A1P in this case) instead of the rebadged version for the faster firmware updates. The only reason to buy a DW2000, in my opinion, is if you just can't let "BenQ" die just yet.

| I c. thank u mate. Anyways a few minutes back i contacted the local BenQ dealer and found out that the last BenQ writer available here(India) was the DW1800. And that was 3 months back. After that BenQ has not launched any writer here and nor are earlier models like DW1800 in stock. Truly BenQ writers are doing the vanishing act. Thankfully LiteOn writers are available. The latest LiteOn available here is LH-20A1H. Barring Sony no other DVD writer mfg. co. launches SATA writers here. Dunno y.

| The DH-20A3H was just announced, but it might be a while until you can get your hands on it. The LH-20A1H is a fine drive, though.
