| Memorex DVD+RW discs are Cr@p, Then tend to fail after they have been erased. Stop using them and try Verbatim DVD+RWs of you must use +RWs on a Panasonic recorder. Buy some Verbatium DVD-RW and I's sure you will have much better luck. You should be able to download the manual from panasonic in PDF format.

| My DMR-ES30V models do not accept DVD+RW discs of any brand. If you must use RW discs they must be DVD-RW. I do not use RW discs or any + discs. With name brands of DVD-R discs priced at around 25 cents each (on sale at major chain and office supply stores) that's all I use. |
| Just signed up here and thanks for the forum. Question: I recently purchased a DMR-ES45V, just copied a VHS tape to a Maxell DVD-R and finalized. I'm now at my PC and want to get the video from the DVD into a format I can use Windows MovieMaker to edit and create a movie. How do I convert this GI format(i think) into a WMV(i think) format? I am a novice and can be perplexed easily, please be kind and I sure apperciate the help. |
