My Panasonic DMR-ES45V has trouble playing DVDR recorded DVDs erratically. It will play for 20 or 30 or 40 minutes then freeze. I tried opening and shutting the tray, cleaning tray, restarting etc. Sometimes on a disc it will play some episodes, but not others. Please help, thank you. |

| Clean the disc, clean the lens and the spindle.

| The lens/hub/spindle cleaning procedure is found here: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f106/fixing...t-help-210507/ Before reinstalling the DVD drive lid be sure that the roller/slider mechanism at the rear of the disc tray is positioned to the far left (as viewed from the front of the machine). This will correctly align the roller/slider with the guide rail on the underside of the drive lid.
