Panasonic Dmr-e85hs Menu Creation Sucks

HI,
couple of things thats sucks in panasonic dmr-e85hs.
is there any solutions for these limitations.

1. only one template of menu, which have 8 thumnail. have 1 or 2 title on 8 thumbnail look so bad. where i want if i have few 1, 2, 4 or 6 title. i should have an option for bigger thumbnails.

2. no chapter level menu. if i have 2 titles. and each title have few chapter. jumping directly to chapter no. 25 in title 2 is a pain. is there a way to have create chapter thumbnail within a title. rather than dividing each chapter into small titles?

3. if you have only one title. and you don't want any menu at all.

there are other limitations too. like no motion menu. no captions. no alternative language recording. but i can live without these.

now here is the million dollar questions. is there any easy way to create better menues to achieve those 3 things i mention.

i heard a way that after burning title to dvd. someone imported that dvd to pc and edit and created menu with some software and finalize dvd in the computer. if thats the way. then complete step by step procedure about that.
1. title to burn on dvd-r or dvd-ram
2. which software imports it
3. which software to make menus
4. which software to finalize that dvds.

remember that new dvd is going to be played in standard dvd player. so the end dvd have to be a dvd-r
