What's the difference between Samsung SH-S182D and Samsung SH-S183A?

Samsung Writer Discuss, What's the difference between Samsung SH-S182D and Samsung SH-S183A? at CD, DVD and Blu-ray Writers forum; What's the difference between Samsung SH-S182D and Samsung SH-S183A? I want to buy a Samsung burner but get confused about the descriptions. Basically i would prefer the 183 sata drive, but does this drive also support dvd-ram, quality scans and lightscribe? Does anyone know what the letters "D" and "M"

    Does anyone know what the letters "D" and "M" stand for in the 182 model? The 183 sata model only comes as "A".

    So far i have found out that the 182M supports lightscribe. The question is if the 183A also supports lightscribe (and quality scanning, dvd-ram).
    Is it possible to flash a 182D to an 182M?

    See here for Specs. Features not mentioned there, are not supported by that drive.
    In short: DVD-RAM: Yes, Lightscribe: No, Scanning: Dunno
