TS-L632D Not Recognizing DVD as a DVD
| Samsung Writer Discuss, TS-L632D Not Recognizing DVD as a DVD at CD and DVD Writers forum; I've had the computer for months, but only recently did I put in a blank DVD+RW in to burn. While looking at My Computer, it says "DVD-RW Drive D:" but as soon as I put in a blank dvd and it reads the disc, it switches to "CD Drive D:" |
| I've had the computer for months, but only recently did I put in a blank DVD+RW in to burn. While looking at My Computer, it says "DVD-RW Drive D:" but as soon as I put in a blank dvd and it reads the disc, it switches to "CD Drive D:" Is this a firmware issue, that the drive is recognizing a DVD+RW as a CD? I'm by no means a computer newbie, but firmware and disk drive problems are new to me, as this is the first one I've had. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
