| Hi Guys, I think my brand new samsung DVD-W is dead ... SH-S183A - Original with firmware 02 ... I just saw update 03 for firmware, downloaded the live update and follow the screens. WoW looks good, but them ... Killed ... The Liveupdate resetart my computer 5 or more times, saying about update .. it changes the Bios(firmware) to - BOOT !!! instead show old one ... After 7 or 8 resetarts from the liveupdate program ... Killed driver... Can't even find it on BIOS - not recognized ... even if i force SATA as IDE ... and drive is locked, no CD comeout from it ... can't open it. Shit ...  Samsung killed my driver !!!! I've tryed everythin, reflash, try to flash from dos, no way it doesnt come back ... arghhhhh My computer Core2Duo E6300 Asus P5B-WiFi deluxe 2 Gb RAM WinXP 2 Disk on Raid 0, and others in sata as SATA !!! NO IDE drivers !!! What can i DO !!!!! |

| I think there was another thread in here about using Live Update someone was asking if they should use it. If I remember correctly I believe the answer was no I know for sure that I would never use it myself to many things can go wrong when using the Live Update feature and you end up with a dead drive.
