Samung SH-222BB bitsetting???

So will there ever be a firmware that allows my Samsung aka TSSTCORP CDDVDW SH-222BB SB00 to set the bit to DVD-ROM?? Or do I need to return this unit and find one that allows bitsetting?

Hi,
I've a SH222BB drive and i can set the bitsetting to DVD-ROM with imgburn.
Just go to tools, drive, change Book Type, Samsung.
