Since Magic Speed only influences CD reading, an information about the burn speed set would have been useful
"Standard" scan speed with Benq drives is 8x btw

Not if your scanning at 1ECC Not sure if Tim did or not though.......

Tim if you click the Advanced button and close it and scan at 4x you will be scanning at 1ECC. Sorry i forgot to mention that.

I can and will post a scan at that speed in this thread and in the other with the same low readings, different movie titles of course

Neither of my 203b's have ever done a burn that nice, you should gold plate that drive and never let it go

that was on my old P4 2.66, nothing special except 3 gig of ram, the same computer I used for the BenQ 16x DARE threads ect. PSU was 250w,it is a DELL 4600 desk top, Dell mobo

Not sure what you mean by "your clueless" , anyway the bottom scan is good but can you get those low readings as your average or is it a hit and miss, it is my average at about 85% to 90% of the time on both my Vista and XP rigs and with any one of my burners

you have no idea what a good scan is=clueless,you do not even have a full disc burned, everyone has low pie with T02, my burn @16x is is the same pie as your 4x or whatever you are burning at you seem not to want to tell us what your burn speed is, and yes you have been beaten many times. There is no out of control PIE any where.
since you are convinced low PIE is the best way to go,and they all look like this, burned @8x.

Yes StormJumper, why not burn a full disc and provide the burn speed? Otherwise, your scans are meaningless.
