Hardware problem: cant update firmware TS-H652L

cant update firmware TS-H652L
Hi!
I have a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652L.
But i cant upgrade using the newest SC01 firmware.
It says "this firmware is not comatible with the selected drive."
Why is that?! Its the right firmware!
Downloaded it from http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H652L/files.html

what is the original firmware of your drive? If you don't know, use WinInquiry from Samsung ODD website: http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/Firmwa...FWvercheck.asp

Please report the results.

I read your FAQ on samsung drives!
I guess there is no firmware updates for OEM code HP?

Hi,

check HP support website for updates.

Your other option would be to crossflash the drive, for example to SC firmware.

HP support doesnt have the latest firmware (Or, yeah, they got their latest but not the latest).
And i dont feel comfortable enough to crossflash.

I guess ill just leave it as it is.
