Hi,

First tried 2.0.0.0 in my Mandrake 10.1 and no matter
what options I have sound is totally messed up when
doing for example copy of my CD's.

I thought it was problem of first version but
version 2.0.0.1 does the same, very disappointed
to this program. And I already paid for it.

K3b works perfectly in my system?

What is the device you are using (complete name, as displayed in the recorder selection dialog) ?
Have you tried to copy your discs via a temporary image ? Your problem may come from buffer underruns caused by dirty original media.

HL-DT-ST-CD-RW GCE-8525B and
HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GSA-4163B

It does not matter if I use copy on the fly or
first copy whole CD to harddisk. Or If I use
DVD or CD-RW drive both act like same.

There is somekind of a problem when
Nero writes it?

Do you have any warning regarding magicdev or kscd when starting NeroLINUX?
Is your source drive connected to the same IDE channel than your recorder?

Yes, there comes error message about magicdev, so? K3b works perfectly.
What should I do about this magicdev?

Yes, both are in same cable(channel?). But I use only one when I make a copy
usually CD-RW drive.

I think the problem might be related to the kernel bug described in Audio tracks burning is too long. In order to be sure, just try to reduce the speed to 10x and check afterwards: Your CD should normally be OK.
If you know how to recompile a kernel, I can give you the patch to apply to the source code in order to correct it.

No help reducing speed to 8x. sound is still AWFUL.
