NeroLinux freezes on Mandriva 10.2

Nero Linux Discuss, NeroLinux freezes on Mandriva 10.2 at Nero & InCD forum; When I start up NeroLinux it just freezes at the splash screen. There is a message at the bottom that says "Scanning devices". ps -e shows "nero (defunct)". What am I doing wrong ? What should I have done that I haven't ? Thanks.

I think this is problem with your cdrom or burner. I have problems with power supply and sometimes my dvd-burner is going offline. Then Nero hangs on splash. you can try to turn off scanning devices in File menu -> Preferences

What is the kernel included with the Mandrake/Mandriva ? I know that with the 10.1 we have had lots of problem, especially when trying to burn in TAO.
