Nero forces underscore character

When I choose a hyphen or dash ( - , ISO 8859-1 0x2D) in a volume/label
name, Nero evidently changes this to an underscore ( _, ISO 8859-1 0x5F).
Is there any way to force Nero to use the - , not the _ , if - appears in the
string? I have not been able to find a Nero setting for this; however, there is no index for the brief manual in PDF that is available for Nero Linux and a find in Acrobat reader for either underscore or _ found no reference to this issue.
