Is disk spanning possible with NeroLinux?

Nero Linux Discuss, Is disk spanning possible with NeroLinux? at Nero & InCD forum; I downloaded the trial version of NeroLinux today and I was wondering if there is a disk spanning function. Basically I want to burn the contents of a directory to multiple DVDs for archiving purposes.

No, it's not possible. Either you split the contents yourself, or otherwise, seeing as it's for archiving purposes you could use something like dar which supports splitting of archives.

I totaly agree with this answer. Making an archive with a specific backup software is a really nice solution (I used partimage in the past: it has an option that let you spare the archives). After you have the DVD 'archives' ready, you can burn them using NeroLINUX... as it supports pure UDF file system (so no 2 GB file size limitation anymore).
