| Nero Linux Discuss, book type is not shown correctly during burning or in log file at Nero & InCD forum; I have not found an issue tracking system for NeroLinux so I post the issue here. I hope the developers track this forum. Version: NeroLinux 3.5.2.3-1 OS: Ubuntu Linux 8.10 x86 32 Bit (fully updated until 2009-02-22 15:29). After burning a DVD, the following message is shown in the dialog: Book Type automatically set to: %s This message also appears in Log.txt: 14:46:57 #16 CDR -1207 File DVDR.cpp, Line 6556 Book Type automatically set to: %s After burning, I asked for "Disc Info". Here the book type is shown. Book Type: DVD-ROM This is a sensible default setting to enhance compatibility with old DVD players. I assume this is a bug in the output/logging component. This leads to user confusion. |
