I have obtained a used Sanyo DVR H200 XE. The information I retrieved here is that it is a clone of the LVW 5045 (and the manual is the same

). I feel that my recorder has an old firmware ( it hangs up from time to time, especially in the timer menue). Sanyo does not offer firmware updates (I asked customer support). My questions: How do I determine the firmware version? How can I backup the old firmware? How can I crossflash the Liteon software?
I think that all these questions might have been already answered in this forum, but I could not find the answers........
